Newport Digital announces Memory for HP L1000 and L2000 Enterprise Server
Tustin, CA -- September 15, 1999 -- Newport Digital announces 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB memory sets for the HP L1000 and L2000 Enterprise Servers. The memory consists of a pair of 278-pin proprietary Dual In-line Memory Modules (DIMMs). The L1000 has eight DIMM slots. The memory installs as pairs. The maximum memory for the L1000 is 8GB. The L2000 has sixteen DIMM slots. The memory installs as pairs. The maximum memory for the L2000 is 16GB. The L-Class memory subsystem provides low latency and high bandwidth. The peak memory bandwidth is 1.3 GB/sec. The memory subsystem uses a novel clocking scheme that allows the SDRAMs to operate at 120MHz.
Newport Digital memory has a lifetime warranty. Newport Digital provides documentation and support for installing memory in your HP Server.
